lyrics
I never meant to leave your shadow.
Haunted by the shade of you
The games that light plays
I see you dancing by the window
Dust motes in the spotlight
My last ovation
Where it all began
I tried to be everything
You wanted for forevermore
I stayed but was gone
There’s no time left for us
No matter what they say
One last time, for always
More precious than you’ll ever know
Name unspoken
Now it’s time to go
Footprints melting in the winter snow
There by the grace
Here without a trace
We’ll say goodbye in the rain
When the darkness takes you over
I’ll be the light you’re hiding under
We’ll say goodbye in the rain
Though the years are passing by you
There’s still time for love to find you
I’ll be fading at the interval
The show will go on
The story now undone
One look at your face
A whisper blown away

Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music. I look forward to their next creation. Drifting Sun are definitely one of prog rock’s brightest lights. Thank you, DS!

For those that remember the Look and Read series in the early eighties (which had such programmes as 'Dark Towers'), in my opinion this music evokes those feelings of mystery and wonder. Very, very impressed. Trebör
